Following a sizeable trade unionist caucus at our conference on April 1st, Another Europe is Possible is launching a trade unionist network to push forward the fight against Hard Brexit in the trade union and labour movements. It is a loose collection of workers, activists, shop stewards, officials, and affiliated unions and branches.
As progressives and leftwingers, we view the agency of workers as central to achieving change in society. In the labour movement, as in society at large, it has never been so vital to stand up for migrants’ rights, internationalism and the rights and protections until now enshrined in EU law.
The network will communicate and organise using an email group. To join it, just email firstname.lastname@example.org telling us who you are.
You can get a model motion to affiliate to Another Europe here.
